CUNY Graduate Center

Video Producer & WriterProduction of cinematic video content and accompanying feature articles that spotlight Graduate Center community members—from graduate students and alumni to faculty researchers and board members—across social media and news platforms.

Video profiles about current Ph.D. students (now Ph.D. candidates) have been acquired for promotional use by the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) and for broadcast on LATiNAS, a monthly news magazine show airing on CUNY TV.


Columbia University

Associate Director of Event Management and CommunicationsDeveloped and executed an integrated communications strategy to promote the undergraduate career center’s services, programs, and events, attended by more than 4,500 Columbia undergraduate students and alumni.

Collaborated with cross-functional university teams on large-scale communications efforts (including the university’s annual first-destination survey) and events such as New Student Orientation and Commencement.

Developed engaging and responsive content for social, email, and campus displays by listening to student leaders in focus groups, career counselors, and employer insights. This top-performing ‘Fit Check’ was a product of such feedback.

Championed center-wide adoption of QR codes to strengthen engagement and visibility on campus plus measurability. Guided redesign of visual asset library, including commissioning and capturing photography, to reflect student body’s global diversity amidst the post-pandemic return-to-campus.


The United States of Anxiety (WNYC Studios)

Associate Producer –  Pitched and produced newsworthy and audience-relevant audio segments for WNYC Studio’s award-winning podcast and live radio show, The United States of Anxiety (later renamed Notes from America with Kai Wright). The weekly show aired on WNYC, the NPR member station with the largest public radio audience in the United States, and was about “the unfinished business of our history and its grip on our future.” Segment highlights include:


Baruch College CUNY

Working under the banner of the Office of Student Life (OSL), partnered with the New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) and the SEEK program teams to support student leadership initiatives through strategic storytelling and visual communications.

Led the creation of a promotional video for a transfer student seminar, developed a comprehensive student discount guide for print distribution, photographed more than 65 peer mentors, and crafted presentation decks and worksheets for student programming.


Queens College

In collaboration with the Queens College Office of Alumni Relations and a committee of peers, co-created and launched an affinity group (Queens College Young Alumni) for recent graduates aimed at strengthening school engagement and providing unique professional development opportunities for alumni. The initiative was adapted by the university and exists today as QC GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade).

Shaped and developed brand communications, including logo design, built and managed website, event registration pages, email marketing, and producing narrative-driven video profiles that highlighted recent alumni working in finance & consulting to share post-graduation outcomes.
