How a Quantitative Methods Master’s Paved the Way to a Ph.D. Dream
After working in business, he joined the CUNY Graduate Center’s Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences (QMSS) program for hands-on training and a strong research foundation. From studying racial disparities in Chicago’s criminal legal system to collaborating with leading faculty, QMSS gave him the tools to make the leap. Now a Sociology Ph.D. student, he’s pursuing research aimed at understanding and confronting systemic inequities.
